Y N0t #25-Population Pyramids

Today we talked about population pyramids, which portray the amount of people in each age group of a country.  Each section of ages on this graph are split into five-year intervals, and these intervals are split into three groups: the pre-reproduction phase (0-14), the prime reproductive phase (15-44), and the post-reproductive years (45-100+).  When it comes to these graphs, a way of telling how a country's population will change over the upcoming years is looking at the width of different areas of the graph; if a country has a wide top and a skinny bottom, then that country's population is on a big ol' decline.  If a country has a large bottom/bottom middle and a skinny top, then that country is on track for a lot more lil' people popping up everywhere.  If a country's demographic is pretty spread out among age groups, then its population will increase slowly.
