Y N0t 2 #27-Athenian Plague vs. COVID-19
Both the Athenian plague and the coronavirus spread very quickly and happens to be affecting those in power. However, we have a good idea of how to stop the spread of this virus while Athens' citizens were forced within the city's walls, which made it spread much faster than if they practiced social distancing and used correct wand-sanitizing protocol. We are also not currently in a war with another country as Athens was, for the whole world is at least some what working together to solve this problem; this allows us to focus mainly on finding a cure/vaccine to stop this pandemic. As well as that, it seems like the Athenian plague was a lot more deadly than the coronavirus.
