Y N0t #21-Life Expectancy
Today we went over different life expectancy (average age) in different populations. For example, Monaco has the largest life expectancy in the world at 85.8 years in total, while Afghanistan has the lowest life expectancy at 52.1 years in total. The United States has a life expectancy of 80.1 years in total. We talked about life expectancy for our generation versus life expectancy in Mr. Schick's generation. There were some arguments for his generation having a lower life expectancy because of people from his generation not having as good of medical help and smoking. Some arguments were made for our generation having the lower of the two because of things such as smoking and people doing a lot more drugs than they used to. We also noticed that women lived longer than men because of men having more dangerous jobs and women taking better care of themselves.
