Y Not #41-We Finished the Video
Today in class we finally finished watching the movie/video Guns, Germs, and Steel. It ended by talking about the fertile crescent, aka Mesopotamia. It was talking about how those in the fertile crescent who were successful managed to stay on the same parallel (latitude), which meant that all of their crops, clothes, and other supplies were able to be used in different locations. This is dude to the climate on each line of latitude being roughly the same. Some of the greatest nations sprang from this region: Rome, Greece, all of the Chinese dynasties, and a couple others.
