Y N0T #8-Beginning of Maps (2 Different Kinds)
Today in class we talked about maps. It was truly exhilarating. There were two different types of maps that we talked about: ones that aren't accurate to the size of countries (Mercator Projection) and ones that are (Peter's Projection). One of the maps we looked was of the United States (aka the best country in the entire universe). It separated different states by colors and even listed every city of every state. The second map was the Mercator Projection one, which made Greenland actually seem absolutely huge compared to what it actually is. The third map was the only one that did not show which mountains were where, but did show every country to its correct proportion. We also watched a short skit about these people wanting the president to make a law stating that schools would have to use the Peter's map Projection. These are the last six words.
